My work is about process and a life journey in pictorial terms. It is about a voyage, the need to move, explore and discover, about losing and finding oneself.

I strive to combine surrealism and folk art with a formalism and precision. As a viewer you may relate to my work because ideas are executed with varied textures, expressive lines, and vivid colors. As you travel through my world, you may see the world as artifice, as a construction of an artist reflecting on herself. In my paintings I often appear as a marker for a subject, a cut out doll in a landscape.

I work in mixed-media: collage, painting and drawing. Often these techniques are combined within a single work. Together they represent the elements which form my world.
